Since first trying a box about 3 or 4 years ago, which I bought from the supermarket, I have rarely drunk other teas. This is easy to drink, not bitter like many teas and despite previously using sugar with tea, I never do so with Dilmah. The taste is lovely and I highly recommend people to try it.

At the supermarkets, I only buy Dilmah tea eventhough it is the most expensive/one of the more expensive brands. I find the quality of the tea to be worth the price.
I bought the "Extra Strength" version of this tea (the box has a purple label). I can still taste the brightness and sparkliness of the tea, in the middle of a mostly rich full bodied flavour. With Dilmah, "extra strong" never equates with bitter! It just works really well to wake you up in the morning, or acts as a good pick-me-up in the afternoon after work :D
Most of the other cheaper black teas (like Lan-Choo; I get that at work) lacked that full-bodied flavour and sparkliness, and often I end up with a cup of really black, bitter and bland tea.

I love this tea. Best black tea in the world. I have tasted many teas in my life, and now I won't drink any other.

I am not a hot tea drinker at all. I have tried many kinds of tea and have never liked a single one. A friend took me to a tea shop here in Taiwan and said it was the best. So i tried it and now i am hooked. It is the best tea and the only tea i have ever liked.

I have an auto-immune problem which manifests as Vasculitis and caffeine among other things triggers it. So I can't drink regular tea. We first got Dilmah Ceylon when we lived in Kazakhstan for a short time. My husband drank it but I never did because of the problem I ususally had with caffeine. When we returned to the U.S., for some reason ,I've forgoten why, I tried the tea and had no adverse reaction, no vasculitis, just a nice pick-me-up. I drink it occasionally and never have a problem.

I've been drinking this tea for a number of years, always purchasing in Canada. In my opinion the best tea available for purchase in the grocery stores there.
