Loading... Please wait...A classic Ceylon Tea! Reasonable colour and strength, very bright and pungent with good character. Grown in the high elevational areas of Ceylons tea country, around 5,000 feet above sea level. A purist would drink this tea without milk or sugar, although we would recommend a touch of fresh milk if your palate is unused to fresh Ceylon Tea. Add sugar to taste. Small in leaf, as denoted by the BOPF grade (Broken Orange Pekoe Fannings). A good breakfast tea. 1.5kg Uva BOPF Loose Leaf Tea.
Ingredients
Black Tea

A delicious pick-me-up, harking back to the way tea used to taste (but seldom does now). After realizing that BOPF grade is better in tea bags than a tea ball, I don't have to forego the last mouthful in the cup any more. The price point might seem steep to those used to buying smaller quantities, but it works out to pennies a cup. Well worth it!
